Devonshire Project
A small kitchen and a small budget for this project needed the injection of creativity resourcefulness. The backsplash is a mounted piece of glass purchased at a demolition store.
The clients liked the open feeling created by the floating shelves which were used instead of wall cabinets which would have made the room feel much smaller. The Base was also a previously used item which was fitted with a previously used butcher block folding table top.
The base cabinet itself was striped of it's skirting board and fitted with casters for mobility when extending the top surface. The drawer faces and the pulls were the only new material that was purchased.
